Security threats have put airlines on high alert. Because Southwest wants to avert any incident leading to injuries, you will have to follow special instructions on certain items. How many 3 oz Bottles can you Take on a plane?
You can bring as many 3-ounce (or smaller) bottles of
liquids as can fit into a single, quart-sized, clear, resealable bag, as per
the TSA's 3-1-1 rule. Up to 6 to 9 small bottles may be allowed depending on

Am I Allowed Liquids in my Checked Luggage?
Yes, you are allowed to pack liquids in your checked
luggage, with the main restrictions being for hazardous materials. Items like
gasoline, paint, bleach, and drain cleaner are banned from both checked and
carry-on baggage because they pose a fire hazard or can be dangerous. Alcoholic
beverages with 70% or more alcohol are not allowed. But those containing
between 24% and 70% alcohol can be checked. Up 5 liters of alcoholic beverage
is permitted in the hold.

Does Southwest consider Deodorant a Liquid?
Deodorant is either liquid or aerosol. Either way, it is

2kg. Aerosol release device must be placed on containers to prevent accidental

doesn’t allow sprays with more than 2% mass of tear gas.
